Unique, Ethical, and Sustainable Fashion

At RazzamaTas, every garment is one-of-a-kind and handmade using upcycled materials to minimise environmental impact. The focus is on ethical and sustainable fashion that blends vibrant colours, creativity, and positive change.

My Story

Hi! I’m Tas, the founder of RazzamaTas. While I’m a translator by profession, I’ve always had a yearning for creativity. Sitting in front of a computer all day just wasn’t enough for me.

My passion for fashion began early: at age 6, I made my first garment using fabric scraps and bits of yarn (though it wasn't exactly wearable). By the time I was 12, I had taught myself to use a sewing machine. At 14, I convinced my family to pitch in and buy me a serger for my birthday/Christmas. Throughout my teenage years, I made all my own clothes and even some for friends and family. As an adult, I spent my weekends bringing to life the designs I had dreamed up during the week.

In January 2024, I took the leap and launched RazzamaTas, an ethical and sustainable fashion brand that lets me follow my creative dreams and share my love for fashion with the world.

The Materials

At RazzamaTas, every garment tells a story. I repurpose second-hand fabrics, such as sheets, curtains, tablecloths, and even offcuts and deadstock material that would otherwise be discarded.

By giving these fabrics a second life, I not only create one-of-a-kind pieces full of character but also help reduce the environmental impact of fast fashion—a serious issue, with over 90 million tons of textiles ending up in landfill each year. Each design showcases how creativity and eco-responsibility can work together to protect our planet.

I personally select each material to offer vibrant pieces with unique prints and designs that you won't find in mainstream retail stores.

The Production

At RazzamaTas, I personally handcraft each piece with love and care right here in Valencia. From the careful selection of fabrics to the final touches, every stitch is made by me to ensure that each garment truly reflects the values of ethical and sustainable fashion. This hands-on approach guarantees that every item is unique, thoughtfully crafted, and filled with love.

Given the state of our planet and the challenges facing the fashion industry, it's essential to shift back to local production and embrace more mindful, slower consumption. This approach not only supports local economies and lessens environmental impact but also promotes a more sustainable and ethical fashion model that prioritises quality and longevity over quantity and speed.
